I have been a Christian since 1962 (10 years old). My wife and I have been married for 21 years. My wife and I have two children Jennifer (16) and Jonathan (13). I serve as Deacon in charge of the college age group. I spent four years in Marine Corps in Cherry Point, NC where I also was the full time preacher for the Havlock Church of Christ. I have one brother and no sisters. Spiritual Background I've been a member of the church almost all my life. My dad always told me that the Lord took care of the ignorant...and I had nothing to worry about. I just love my dad and miss him dearly. He went to be with God in 1982 at the age of 56. My Dad was an Elder for a congregation in Alabama where my mother still attends.
Favorite Verses 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 "Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody." Why I Am a WBS Teacher I have a love for the gospel and would love to be a missionary. Due to family commitments, I can still be a missionary and plant God's word.....and never have to leave home.
Campaigns Back in the 60's attended a campaign in Dallas...who can remember that far back??
Hobbies / Interests I love boating and water skiing, camping, hiking and "outdoorsie" stuff. I love the book of James, "The Christian Living Handbook" as I call it.
